Child Care Resources Inc. (CCRI) is a private, nonprofit child care resource and referral agency that works with families and communities to ensure that all children have access to high quality, affordable early learning and school-age opportunities and experiences that enable them to succeed in school and in life. CCRI trains and partners with child care practitioners, connects parents with community resources, helps families find and afford quality care, and advocates for child-focused policies at all levels.

Provides families and teachers with resources and training to build language, literacy and pre-reading skills for children ages 0 to 5. TFTRC services are available for geographically diverse early learning programs (e.g. child care centers, family child care homes, English as Second Language Programs, Head Start, and part-day preschools) and other accessible community sites including houses of worship, MPC-funded activities, and public housing.

Raising A Reader is a national nonprofit organization offering local agencies an evidence-based early literacy and parent engagement program that has been proven to improve the reading readiness skills of children ages 0-5. Raising A Reader’s mission is to engage parents in a routine of daily “book cuddling” with their children from birth to age five to foster healthy brain development, parent-child bonding, and early literacy skills critical for school success.
